See All in Life Lessons
No matter what you do in life, the thoughts that you put behind any activity has a significant effect on the outcome of your goals and dreams. Whether you are pushing yourself to your limit in sport, working your ass off for that next promotion at work, or sitting on the couch watching the world go by, the success you will achieve is affected by your thoughts.
How much tension is in your body right now?
Are you as relaxed as you can be?
Do you feel any tightness or strain in your posture?
Wherever you are right now, take a moment to do a self-scan. Close your eyes and imagine a beam, like the scanning light on a photocopier, starting at the top of your head and slowly working down to your toes.
WEEKLY WIN
See All in Weekly Win
Can this be true? Is Spring finally here? That seems to be the case, here on the West Coast. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and life is sprouting everywhere. The smiles on everyone’s faces is our reward for enduring months of rain, cold, and for some places, BLIZZARDS.
Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a good weekend and were able to get out and get some exercise. If you are on the east coast, you might not have been able to do much more than shovel snow from your driveways. Here on the west coast, the spring rains continued to fall for most of the weekend. Thankfully today was dry.
How did the weekend fly by so quickly! We had a lot going on this weekend so this week’s Weekly Win is a touch late. As the saying goes... “Better late than never!” So here we go!
I made a last minute decision to register for a Soft Tissue Release course where I learned some new techniques I can use in the clinic and at sporting events. My goal is to increase my athletic clientele, so this course was a no-brainer and I’m so glad I did it.
Hey Universe…. Can I talk to you for a moment?
Hi Kandice! What’s up?
You know last week, when I made changes in my schedule, so I could spend more time on writing?
Yes, I remember. You were excited that you’d given the required notice to leave your work at the clinic, BUT you felt agitated because you didn’t want to have to wait. You felt ready to jump in with both feet and waiting felt like a delay.
