Can this be true? Is Spring finally here? That seems to be the case, here on the West Coast. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and life is sprouting everywhere. The smiles on everyone’s faces is our reward for enduring months of rain, cold, and for some places, BLIZZARDS.Read More
Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a good weekend and were able to get out and get some exercise. If you are on the east coast, you might not have been able to do much more than shovel snow from your driveways. Here on the west coast, the spring rains continued to fall for most of the weekend. Thankfully today was dry.Read More
How did the weekend fly by so quickly! We had a lot going on this weekend so this week’s Weekly Win is a touch late. As the saying goes... “Better late than never!” So here we go!
I made a last minute decision to register for a Soft Tissue Release course where I learned some new techniques I can use in the clinic and at sporting events. My goal is to increase my athletic clientele, so this course was a no-brainer and I’m so glad I did it.Read More
Happy Easter! Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you all. Even though my kids are well into their teens, the Easter Bunny still makes an appearance every year. Sadly, their taste in chocolate has improved, and I can’t get away with buying cheap chocolate. I must say, it’s worth spending a bit extra (if you can) on better quality chocolate. If you are going to treat yourself, and your kids, you might as well have the good stuff!Read More
Happy first week of Spring. While the calendar indicates Spring is here, it’s been pretty darn cold here in Vancouver. I’m not complaining, the eastern provinces and the eastern US have experienced one last winter storm. Many people spent the weekend staying warm and digging themselves out of the drifts of snow.Read More
Wow! It's has been a beautiful week here in Vancouver. The sun has been out nearly every day, and if you are standing in the sun, it is quite warm. The air still has a bit of a chill to it, but once we get into April, that will disappear quickly.
I’m still laid up with an ankle injury, so I had to dig down deep to pull out the weekly wins for this week. Here we go:Read More
Happy Sunday! Hope you have all had an amazing week. This week started to go off the rails for me early in the week when I injured my ankle when climbing at the gym on Monday. I decided to push myself when doing a dynamic move (picture a frog leaping up a wall). Sadly, I did not successfully grab the hold and I fell about 3 meters (9 feet) horizontally on top of an inverted ankle. OUCH!!!Read More
Hope you all have had a great week. After last week’s crazy snowfall, everyone I talk to seems to be ready for Spring. I know I certainly am!
It's been a quiet week in the TiterLeaf household but here are a few things that have happened.Read More
Can you believe that we are already eight weeks into 2018? Time has been passing so quickly. The weather here in Vancouver has been completely crazy. When I left Quebec City on Monday, it was warmer in Quebec than here in Vancouver. Stepping out of the airport into minus 8-degree weather was quite shocking.Read More
Alana competed Saturday in Boulder Nationals in Quebec City, Quebec. While she didn’t make it past the qualifying round, she had a great time, tried some difficult problems and saw some of her friends have amazing climbs. She’s looking forward to watching those who qualified, compete Sunday in the semi-final round.Read More
Happy Sunday!!! Hope you all had a great week. It’s been sunny here in Vancouver for the last couple of days, and I think everyone is grateful to have a break from the winter rainstorms that we’ve been having. Hey, I’m not complaining! We should have a significant amount of water in reserve for the summer thanks to the rain and a healthy amount of snowpack on the mountains.Read More
The rain has been coming down in Vancouver in record-breaking volumes, but that won’t stop the amazing things going on around North Vancouver. The sun is out now and it’s amazing how it changes everyone’s mood.
Here are some weekly wins for this week.Read More
