Alana competed Saturday in Boulder Nationals in Quebec City, Quebec. While she didn’t make it past the qualifying round, she had a great time, tried some difficult problems and saw some of her friends have amazing climbs. She’s looking forward to watching those who qualified, compete Sunday in the semi-final round.Read More
Happy Sunday!!! Hope you all had a great week. It’s been sunny here in Vancouver for the last couple of days, and I think everyone is grateful to have a break from the winter rainstorms that we’ve been having. Hey, I’m not complaining! We should have a significant amount of water in reserve for the summer thanks to the rain and a healthy amount of snowpack on the mountains.Read More

Hey! Hope you had a good week. Here in Vancouver, it hasn’t stopped raining for what seems like months but it’s been snowing like crazy on the mountains. This is great news for the snowpack which feeds our water reservoir for the summer. The weather has been so crazy they even opened the Grouse Grind for a few days due to low snow and ice on the trail. In all the years I’ve been aware of the Grind, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it open in the winter. Crazy Weather!! It’s closed again though as they’ve received a ton of snow in the past few days.Read More
