Happy Easter! Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you all.  Even though my kids are well into their teens, the Easter Bunny still makes an appearance every year.  Sadly, their taste in chocolate has improved, and I can’t get away with buying cheap chocolate.  I must say, it’s worth spending a bit extra (if you can) on better quality chocolate.  If you are going to treat yourself, and your kids, you might as well have the good stuff!

It’s been a quiet week around the TiterLeaf household but here are a few wins:

Spencer had a kickboxing belt test on Thursday night and received his promotion to Low Black.  He worked hard leading up to the test knowing that Master Ingrid would push the group to their limits.  Watching from the sidelines was amazing. His kicks have improved so much as have his push-ups, he did a total of 70!

I’ve been learning a lot about the healing process as I continue to rehabilitate my ankle injury.  This was week 4, and things are progressing nicely.  Thursday, I was permitted to start some balance training and the green light to get onto my indoor bike trainer. While I have been consistently weight training for the last three weeks, it’s not quite as satisfying as burning through a cardio workout. I didn’t push too hard, just enough to get my heart rate up.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Remember to eat at least one healthy thing for every piece of chocolate you might find yourself eating this weekend.  😊
