Can this be true? Is Spring finally here? That seems to be the case, here on the West Coast.  The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and life is sprouting everywhere.  The smiles on everyone’s faces is our reward for enduring months of rain, cold, and for some places BLIZZARDS.

It’s been an interesting week around here, so let’s get to it!

Alana returned from a band trip to Edmonton earlier this week, and I think after the events in Humboldt, Saskatchewan two weeks ago, the parents sighed a breath of relief when the buses pulled in safe and sound. She had a great trip yet spent the next couple of days recuperating from 30+ hours of driving (there and back) on a bus full of excited teenagers. She learned a lot from the festival and is looking forward to next year.

As I wind down my current practice of massage therapy, I’ve been transitioning more towards my writing goals.  Sometimes there are SO many ideas that it’s hard to narrow things down to one or two projects.  For now, I will continue to do the Weekly Win as well as daily Instagram inspirational postings.  I am working on a couple of blog posts as well that I hope to release in the next couple of weeks.

The best news this week is that my physiotherapist has given me the thumbs up to try climbing next week.  Of course, with the guidelines of I must be on a rope (no bouldering), only climb routes I know I can complete, no falling or landing on my foot, and climbing for a short period (aka not overdoing it!). So many rules but I’ll take it.  I’m looking forward to getting back on the wall.

Weekly Quote:
“In reality, failure is simply feedback. It’s not that you are bad or not good enough or incapable. Failure (or feedback) gives you the opportunity to look at what’s not working and figure out how to make it work.” - Lewis Howes, The School of Greatness: A Real-World Guide to Living Bigger, Loving Deeper, and Leaving a Legacy

Have an amazing week.  Get out and do something fun this week. Maybe check out a new movie, see a play, or find some new music and dance like no one is watching.
