Weekly Win - 21
Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a good week. I’m going to jump right in this week so here are my wins for this week. Enjoy!
This week in the acting class I’m taking (I’m taking it for personal development, not to become an actor), we had to perform a three-minute solo dance. At the beginning of the course, we were given characters, and the dance we chose was to be something our character would dance to in a private moment. I selected “Someone to Love” by Queen. It was incredibly freeing to get lost in the music, and dance like no one was watching.
At my violin lesson this week, I played my first duet with my instructor, Puya. It was a short piece, and I hadn’t played it before, so it was exhilarating to get through it without getting lost in what either of us was doing. I was quite giddy after we finished. I hadn’t practiced much during the week, and sadly it showed when I played a few scales for him. I felt much better after we performed the duet and I made a personal promise to stay on top of practicing.
I wrapped up my schedule in the clinic and will be I spend more time on creative projects. I thought I might feel a bit sad on my last day, but as I locked up the office when I left on Thursday evening, I had a feeling of rightness. This new path I’m on feels correct, more than any path I’ve ever been on.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
